HAPPY..

Princess Leia's in a very beautiful mood today.

Everytime I took out the camera to capture a pic of her , she would give me a big sweet smile.

I hope this happens everyday :)

Something amazing again..

Princess Leia did something amazing this morning again.
When I woke up this morning, as usual, around 7.30 am, I was surprised to see Leia sucking on her pacifier but did not really think much about it as it could be hubby who placed the "tutu" in her mouth.
The more I thought about it, the weirder I felt and so when hubby came back from his shower, I question him and was quite piss as to why he gave bb the "tutu"as he could have woke me up to feed her instead of giving her the "tutu" to let her go back to sleep.
He looked at me and said he did nothing of that sort. In fact he had placed the "tutu'' on top of baby's head instead of giving it to her as she was asleep 30 mins ago.
Then I finally realise that it was the little Princess that had reached out for the "tutu" all by herself and placed it into her own mouth... ALL DONE BY HERSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's so amazing!! yet another achievement and self discovery by little Princess Leia..


Went to the GD program today and really excited as I will soon be starting our little Princess on her journey of learning math and reading.
Actually for the past few days, while the laptop was out, I had been doing a lot of reading by Glenn Doman. I am really hoping to understand his methods and purpose of the human brain before starting Leia on this journey.
As Glenn Doman quote "mothers are the best teachers in the world for their babies".
It makes me all the more to want to be able to use my time well spent with the little one before I get back to work.
I also realise the importance of building a good foundation for the little one as she goes along in the society. I hope that she will enjoy this process as much as possible.

Ginger

An update on bb Ginger..
Turns out that the bump on her leg was just a scare..
Vet told us that the bump was probably due to a jab that she was given the last time when she had the tummy upset and told us that we had nothing to worry about unless she feels pain.
Thank God!!

Laptop back but "PINKY Bear" got lost.. *sob sob*

Finanlly got back the laptop and thank goodness for warranty.. ha ha ha..
did not have to pay for repairs :)

While laptop was recovered, "Pinky bear" got lost!!!
"Pinky Bear" happens to be Princess's favourite friend. It's a pink bear that came together with a hamper package from her Auntie Gillian and Uncle Thomas..
Both hubby and I feel quite guilty about losing this friend of our little Princess in Orchard today and hopefully Aunt Gillian can work some magic and try to get a replica back for us..

Just when things are starting to look good again...hai..

Think will continue a series of bad luck before things will resume back to normal..
haii.. bad luck started when "teh tarik" rained on my laptop!!
Luckily I still had a desktop for backup.. but then again most of my important documents and pics are saved in my laptop!! Oh my God.. really pray that nothing horrible will happen upon my hard disk :(

That's not all. Like I said, it will be a series of bad luck..
Yesterday night, while patting Ginger, I found a huge lump(as big as a 20cts coin) on the right side of her hind leg!!
I am starting to feel uncomfortable about this lump and suddenly wanting to scream, "why is this all happening to me??!!!!" Will have to bring Gin to the vet later.. God, please take the lump away.. and all my bad luck too..

My Babies

Both my babies are recovering from their tummy troubles quickly and I can finanlly feel relief. And with Princess Leia well and pain free, I decided to start her on our daily flashcards sessions once again. I'm doing "san zi jing", animals recognition and about 10 engish words with her now. I also try to give her as much physical exercises as possible and I find that she is definitely a very fast learner.
She is now able to coordinate quite well both her hands and legs for crawling, and can even manage about 10cm - 15cm crawl!!
I am starting to sit her up on her own, and she can manage about 2mins with only back support. I feel that her learning progress is preety fast and just last night she did something so cute. She was actually humming, kind of like singing, while I was burping her after her 5.30am feed. Her humming were so loud and clear that hubby was able to hear her even though he is a very deep sleeper. This was just one of those moments that make me feel amazed and excited. These are my special moments with my lovely Princess.

It's been a sad and worrying week

First it's Ginger that came down with vomiting and diarrhea, then it's baby Leia that got so angry and upset with being constipated for almost 4 days.
It's has been a very sad and worrying week for me. Ginger was almost recovering from her stomach upset, then came Leia's turn to get constipation from taking her baby rice cereals. She was in such agony as she has always been a poo once a day gal and the "s**t" in her tummy is just torturing for her!!
For the past two days, she has been screaming her lungs out, which is something that has never happened before. And through this incident, I realize that she is such a smart girl as whenever I tried to encourage her to poo by making the "ng ng" sound, she will always cooperate with me by pushing. But her stools are so hard that, it's just too difficult and painful to push out from her anus. So today, I finanlly brought her to see the doctor and what a relief it was even though I think she must have hated the doc for inserting the glycerin into her anus.
She FINANLLY "pooed" with some help from me. Her stools are indeed as hard as a rock and it even cause some blood in her stools.."MY GOD"!!
Ginger baby vomited blood and diarrhea while Leia had constipation and pooed blood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm almost going CRAZY!!
It pains me to see both my babies in so much pain. I hope they get well soon and life will return back to normal soon. There is only so much I can take.

still sick

My poor Ginger is still sick despite the medication we gave her following the visit to the vet four days ago. She is still vomitting and having diarrhea. Today was even worse than the last few days as she is starting to refuse food and water. Had to bring her to the vet today again and be put on the drip as she was losing water. I'm feeling terrible as she may not be able to come home tonight. We are still trying to figure out her problem. I really hope its not due to jealousy that's causing her all these upset..
