Am I turning CRAZY??!!

Today is yet another crazy day for me.. Me getting frustrated with everything and everyone.. it seems my temper is flying and striking at lightning speed these days...
Am I turning to be some kind of monster from hell or WAT!!!

I really should get back to work soon.. I really need some breathing space of my own or I will soon become real unpopular with everyone.. Mom and sis are right.. I should go out now and then alone to get some breather.. I NEED A BREAK!!

As much as I would like to be left alone for some reasons, I am pretty reluctant and hesitant about leaving Princess to my helper's care.. I do take breaks.. I go facial once in about 1-2 mths and when I do.. my mind is all about the Princess.. if she is sleeping.. eating.. playing.. crying..

Haiz.. wat am I to do??!! I feel so helpless and weak.. God, please give me strength.. I am so drained up..
Anyone has any super strength miracle juice.. HELP!!!
Tears well up on my cheeks so easily nowadays.. I am turning into a weakling... I hate that..
And I really hate myself for showing and throwing all these anger in front of the little one.. but it seems the harder I try to cool it.. the more difficult it gets...
I really dun want my girl to have all these bad images of me showing all that anger.. Its such bad influence..

I MUST I MUST I MUST LEARN TO COOL IT!!!!!!!! CALM DOWN GIRL!!!

9 months today!!

My little one turns 9 mths today and we brought her to Dr Ong for her second pneumoccocal jab..
Poor thing.. Screamed and cried her lungs out..
Think this is the worst jab that she ever got cos she was really SSSSSCCCCREEEAAMING!!!!!
But thankfully she cooled down after some hugging and singing from me, mummy dearest..

I was really surprise when the doc told me that it is better not to feed baby with "mee sua"... As it contain plenty of salt which is no good for the little one..
""oops oops""
I fed the little one "mee sua" yesterday cos I thot she was bored with porridge.. Think I should just give continue her with simple foods until she turns 1..

Today is not a good day for me..
In fact everything s**ks.. Met the worst driver, had to handle little one's screams and cries, problems at home!!!!!!!!!!!!
Haiz..... This is one of those days when I really wish that I was back at work..

My poor baby did not have a pleasant day with mummy today...
I AM SO SORRY...
Mummy promise to make it better tomorrow, the day after and all other days as they go along..

walker

We went to Marina Square today in search of a walker for our little Princess as I felt that she is now ready for one.. There wasn't much choice at kiddy palace and only one caught our eye. An orange colored, space looking walker.. We put the Princess in it just to make sure she likes it before making payment.. Look at her face and u Know she likes it!!



Before leaving, I just couldn't resist putting her in the jumperoo for some pictures.. She loves it too.. But no way, was there space for another jumperoo.. Sorry darling..

A Daddy's Love

We brought the little one to toys"r"us yesterday to get birthday gifts for Prince Marcus and Princess Celincia. We walked about 30 mins before deciding that we should get them the same gifts..

Which saves more trouble.. "heehee"

In the end, we bought 3 of the same toy cos hubby felt that Leia will like it too!!!

As we were about to walk out of the store, something caught hubby's eyes..

IT WAS "T.M.X Elmo"!!!!!!!!!!

When hubby saw it, he asked me if we should get it for the Princess.. I was caught by surprise cos the price was $99.90!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Which I felt that it's pretty costly.. But my hubby, without even battling an eyelid, went to the counter and got it for our little one!!

This was just one way of showing how much he dote and love our precious baby..

I dun mean that by showering our baby with an expensive toy was loving her, but hubby has always been careful with spending money n his action, kinda touch me.. Cos no amount was too much when it comes to spending it on our little one.. And knowing that Leia loves Elmo, Daddy just want to get it for her, if it was within our means..

Yet another "Ba Lu Ku" today!!

It's our monthly meetup again yesterday.. Yesterday we were off to Glenda's place and it was fun as it's been real long since we last catch up.

It has been donkey years since I last visited Glen's place and the last time I went there was not even married.

And now my baby girl is already 8 mths old. Haha..

How babies grow!! Princess Celincia seems to have lost some weight while Princess Trischa seems to have grown quite a bit. Looks different from the previous time I saw her. My dear Marcus boy is still as observant and quiet as always. Prince Aidan stayed at home cos his good friend Princess Giselle wasn't able to come..

A wonderful spread was prepared for us by Glen's mummy.. Thank You..

I believe our next meet up will be on Prince Marcus's and Princess Celincia's birthday..

Hugs and Kisses

For the past few days, my little Princess has been showing me her signs of love and affection towards me.

3 days ago, she gave me a hug and kissed me on my lips!!!
This whole action left me in a state of shock.. I was simply touched and no amount of words could describe my feelings.
She did not just kissed me once but twice when I asked her to do it again.

"BABY, MUMMY LOVES U SO MUCH!!!"

And today she caught me by surprise again, by planting a kiss on my lips while I was carrying her.
How my baby have grown..
This is such a priceless wonderful moment..
And I am hungry for more..

YoGURT..

After some recommendations from some mummies from the SMH website, I went to Cold Storage to get this bb yogurt for the little one.. And she really likes it, she can actually finish one whole cup..

"Dada will take me swimming.. Mama will take me pictures.."

"Dada DUNK me twice..but i am a BRAVE girl.. I thoroughly enjoyed it!!!"

Princess's Arrival

Graduation and Creeping..

Today Leia kind of graduated from her first term with Kindermusik and got her first certificate from the school.. Heehee.. It brings back sweet memories for me.. If I did not remember wrongly, I believe I got my first cert from Yamaha.. (mom, correct me if i'm wrong)

I have also enrolled the little one for the next term to continue her classes as I find that she seems to love the music and activities.

I also realised that when babies get together, they kind of pick up some skills from one another. And today the little one officially creeped!! She was actually trying to creep for the past 2 days but would give up after 4-5 steps. Today while waiting for class to start, she started creeping all over the room just to get the balls around her... hahaha.. And her classmate(a baby boy name James) who already knew how to creep was probably her teacher as he was creeping around her..

It's really amazing to see how babies can pick up skills at such a lightning speed..

Ever since yesterday, the Princess has found joy in screaming.. Oh my Goodness..
She is slowly aware of her own emotions and today she actually threw her tantrum!!
She wailed and screamed her lungs out when I took her teething biscuit from her as she had stuffed the entire biscuit into her mouth without chewing...
I think this is only the beginning of a nightmare!! Though yesterday I was certainly delighted by her new found voice, but today I really don't appreciate it...
I will have to seek advice on this.. Hmm..
In the meantime, I will try to keep my cool for as long as possible and hope that by singing to her will calm her down...
I certainly do not wish to raise a screaming child..

AMAZING!!

My little one was a real performer today!!

Haha.. Mom came by today in the evening to feed me with her "ai xin" bird's nest and she was entertained by the little one...
Leia was able to stand up straight by holding on to the railings of her baby cot but that was not all, she managed to stand on her own for 3 secs!!!!!!!!!
That's something new that she did for her "porpor"..
She was screaming with laughter and the more we cheered her, she was unstoppable...
heehee.. now she is fast asleep and I guess she must be real exhausted by her performance :)

Leia is now 8 mths old and I have slready introduced her to quite a wide range of food already.
THank God that she enjoys her solids real well and up till now I do not have any problem feeding her with the foods that I gave her.

Today I came up with a REAL DELICIOUS recipe.
Even I could not resist finishing up the porridge that she left over!!
HAHA..

We just could not stop laughing at how adorable the Princess looks with the shades that we put on her at toys"r"us!!

Dinner with pals..

Went to dinner with the girls at this somehow "ulu" bottle tree park with quite a decent environment but darn high priced and untasty food.

Oh well, the main point of this meet up was a gathering with the girls for a reunion dinner of "lou hei".. So I guess all else doesn't matter...
And one more thing to add, the air conditioning was REAL strong...
Goodness!! I think that will be out first and last time to that place.

TOTO CRAZE

I have decided to try going back to work and leave the care of Princess to my helper, Tini.
Told hubby that will see if it works out fine.
And I think I need some space of my own for a short period.
Have been really short and bad tempered for quite long and I think I really need a breather.
I am starting to hate myself for being so impatient with both my girl and family.

So going back to work might just do the trick.

On the other hand, I have been forking out some $$$ to buy toto with dreams of striking so that I will not have to go back to work and slog like a cow.
I don't need to be a billionaire but hopefully strike enough to last me 3 years without a job so that I can stay home and concentrate taking care of the little one without worrying about $$.

PLS LET ME STRIKE!!! I REALLY NEED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tumble Tots

Leia was thrilled with all the gym tools that tumble tots had and I was thrilled and excited too as this was the first time I am meeting the mummies from the SMH June thread.
Its all like a mystery unfolding cos I have never met any mummies from that thread before even though we have exchanged advices with each other for about 6 months.
And it was real fun to be around babies of the same month as the Princess.

Leia in the tunnel. Mummy is so proud of her as she crawled all the way out just to see me on the other side. This tunnel actually helps to encourage her to be independent and rid of all fears.
