Went for lunch at Paragon Din Tai Fung today and took random pics..

Lord's blessings

With Lord's blessings, We finally managed to get Leia enrolled into a wonderful kindergarten next year, where she will be starting Pre Nursery. Like I mentioned in my earlier post, I have not been a great mom. Can u imagine that I did not know that I have to get my child enrolled in the first half of the year??!! This is one side of me that I have failed as a mom.
But with Lord's blessings, Lord was kind to us especially me. Praise the Lord!
Princess looks so cute in the uniform and sometimes I cannot believe how fast she has grown. She is very excited about going to school while I am a little apprehensive about her having to take the school bus at such a tender age. But I have trust in Lord that princess will be in good hands. Thank You Lord once again.

Auntie Yen's Gift :)

This hat is simply gorgeous! Thanks to Yen who went through so much trouble bringing in back from China:) Leia loves it! And I am getting hubby to source around for a costume that would go with it..

The horrible Rash!!

This rash is Leia's first and a very very terrible one. It happened last month and it lasted for almost 2 weeks! The cause of it is still unknown. And it only subsided after we went to see a skin specialist at Mount Alvernia.

Confusion

Many a times, I am confused with my blog.

I wonder if this blog is more about me rather than my Princess.

Either way, I blog mostly because I feel that they are feelings that I would like to share.

My Princess has grown so fast and there are times when I read up on some mummies blog, I feel bad.

I feel that I have not done enough to nurture her progress, maximise her potential whenever I can.
Lazy is probably the word to use on me.

Before I come back from each flight, there are tons of ideas and activities that I want to do with her but each time when I come back, I would just laze with her or even spend my time doing my own things.

Like now, while she is napping, I am blogging.

I also would like to hang out with my friends to keep my sanity. But all these actions makes me guilty on the other side of me.

It makes me feel like I am not fully utilising my time with my girl.

I really have problems balancing my feelings and thoughts and I think this would be my goal for the coming year.

I believe every working mother out there struggles with this thought in her and I pledge to do my best in keeping a balance.

Amsterdam

My first trip to Europe.
Breath taking but too expensive to live in.
It looks just like the a fairy land and it looks exactly as how u would imagine.
Cottages, houses, land and real plentiful of animals.
A dairy land but a land below sea level.
Took loads of pictures.. Too many to post and too lazy :p

Ladies nite out

It has been donkey donkey years since We gals have been out "chionging"!!!!
It was a real fun night after so long.
But the sianz part was the wait at Prego.
We did not make any reservations because we din know exactly if this nite out was confirmed.
It was a last min gathering.
And We ended up waiting almost 2 hours before finally siting down to eat!!!!!!!
But it was cool.
We really enjoyed ourselves, with the night spent drinking at Balaclava and St James :)

Daddy's Home..

I have not been blogging cos Daddy's home and we have been spending time together as a family.
We cherish these precious time together as We have already realised that this was not to be taken for granted.
We are grateful to Lord for this.

Daddy, for the first time in his life, went to church.

Praise Lord.

There were mixed feelings in him as he felt both good and bad.
Bad because this was his first and he just felt ackward I guess.
As when he saw Christians not holding back themselves to Praise and Sing to the Lord.
He actually felt Santanic!!!! Haha..

But he felt really Good afterwards.
That I cannot explain.
Because you have to be there to experience it yourself.

When I first went to church, I felt bad too initially...
For me, it was also ackward.
Then I realised that my feeling bad is also because I was feeling guilty.
Guilty for all my Sins.
But later I felt really Good and Relieved and Thankful.

I thank Lord that despite all the Sins I have commited, He forgives me and is willing to accept me.

But in order to keep that kind of relationship with him, requires a lot of effort.

You will start to question your faith as time goes and you will question Him for whatever Bad things has happened to you and your family.

And most of the time, in fact, all the time, you forget about Him when Good things happen to you.

You take for granted every good thing that has happen.

You will not ask why He is so good to you and you will only ask why He is so bad to you.

Humans are such selfish beings that you break his heart.

Therefore I learn to give thanks for each and every single thing that has happen in my life.

I am learning to give thanks to even bad things.

For whatever that seems bad now, could turn into good.

It could be a lesson well learned that you will not make that kind of mistake again.

I am learning to Pray and I learned that praying keeps you from sinning.

Praying makes me feel closer to Lord.

And
"Dear Lord, I pray that I will keep praying and You will be there when I pray. I thank You for each and every day that You have created for me. I will love You and honor You.
In Jesus name I pray, AMEN"

Meeting Up

Its so funny. My baby sister took 10 years to finally join me in the airline. So looooonnnggg....
And the really sad part is, I am trying to get out of this company!!!
But the really happy part is that I still can have her to shop for me if I resign!!!!!!!!!!!!
Weeeee... Isn't that GOOD!!!! Haha...
I am glad and grateful to have such an adorable sister. I sometimes do think if I should give the Princess a sibling. But I really am not ready yet. Both financially and emotionally.
Little one has been testing my patience lately and frankly I have not taken it quite well. So I have second thoughts about having another child. But she also have her lovable side.
She would just hug and say "I love you" for no reason.
She takes u aback with BIG words.
Just 2 nights ago, while she was almost falling asleep, she raise her 2 hands and started to rub my cheeks.
She asked me, "Mummy, u happy? u happy... happy"
I said, "Yes. Mummy happy. Mummy happy cos sleeping with Leia."
Then she said, " No.. Mummy happy.. Mummy happy because Papa coming home..."
I was stunned!!!! I was really stunned...
My 2 year old can sense my feelings more than I do about myself!!!
From this, I really believe that mother and child are connected in more ways then you ever know.
This will stay in my heart forever. I really hope that my child will always sense me as I will sense her. I certainly hope that We will sense Lord as he sense us.

My precious

This picture would not have been possible if Lord did not made it happen.

This picture looks unbelievable normal in everyone's eyes but it holds a special memory and significance to me.
To be able to sit down and celebrate my birthday together, Lord made it happen.

Hubby initially was not able to come back from China to celebrate this occasion with me for he had just came back 2 months ago.

But last month, he made a very brave decision. One that I never think he would.

"He decides to quit and come back.
He decides to serve Lord.
He decides that he have to make time for Lord and his family."

He hands in his resignation letter without an offer.

He trust LORD.
We trust LORD.

This photo will be a reminder of what Lord has done for me and my family.

Celebrating 30..

Celebrated 3o with my beloved jie meis. We have come a long way and celebrating this day together made it even more extraordinary and special.
Thank You my dear friends.
