Puzzles
Saw these at Popular bookstore the other day and I thought little one might enjoy playing puzzles with me :)
Not too ex and they are pretty cute. Especially the first 2 ones on top.
Chinese
I feel that it is time I should introduce Chinese to my little one. It is still a little strange for me as most of the time I am only speaking to her in English.
Well, I feel pretty ashamed of myself cos my Mandarin dun really can "jian ren" lor.
I can speak but I dun really can read!!! Aiyo.... sooo "pai seh"...

updates on Princess
I haven't been doing a good job in updating the Princess learning progress.
But she is so good at surprising me.
I have never doubted my girl's learning abilities and I always feel that she is perfect in my eyes no matter what she does or doesn't do.
Today is yet an amazing fun day with her and I can tell she loves being with me.
She shocked me today. Whenever I can, I will do her homework(worksheets from Shichida) with her.
While I was not paying attention, she was carefully drawing a horizontal line on the worksheet that I have been doing with her for for the past few days.
I almost teared. Isn't she amazing!!!!
And she is now able to recite nos 1- 10 all by herself.. She does this every time we gets her out from her bath and she will start counting 1-10, then throw away the water from the bathtub.
She is also able to recognize shapes and says her first 4 syllables word "helicopter" almost perfectly!!!!
She enjoys her classes on Sat, loves dancing, play-doh, painting, swimming, sand play, stickers and most of all, watching Barney.....
And daddy bought us tickets to see Barney on 6th of JUNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She will be so delighted :) I can't wait to video her excitement.

First rejection
For the first time in my life, I actually rejected a job offer today.
I am feeling a little wierd cos I had really wanted to join this company but because the timing of the training is not right, I had not much choice but to turn it down.
Though the pay in this company is not that fantastic, I really wanted a change.
Initially I thought, I was going to quit JAL this June and going over to Shanghai to join darling hubby. But there has been a change of plans because I realise that I was not going to like staying there for long term and darling hubby's company does not provide for family members, so it does not make sense to come up our own pocket money to join him there.
Sometimes I am really sorry that we have to be living apart especially when girl is still so young and it is not exactly healthy for the princess to be living without her daddy around her as much as he wants to be.
But everday, I am making a silent prayer to GOD that my little girl will understand this situation.
And that she will be a sensible and sensitive child to know that Daddy and Mummy are doing this for a better future for our family.
The reason why I am hoping to get the new job is also mostly because I can spend more time with girl as it will only require me to work 16-20 days in a month.
The sad thing is the timing of the training is not right. It requires me to be in Hong Kong on 26th May!!!!! But my current contract will only end on 16th June. If I tender my resignation now, I will not be able to collect my bonus gratuity which will leave me $7000 poorer!!!!!!
