Chinese New Year 2009

We ate and ate and ate through the New Year!!!!

Duck Tour

Brought the Princess on duck tour and she was really excited about it after I described to her that we were going to take a boat that has wheels which could also travel on land. And she kept repeating "duck tour, duck tour...."

Its pretty interesting and the weather was great that day because it had rained before we took the ride,so it was cooling.
But the time that we took was not that good cos the Princess fell asleep halfway through the journey.
Also both me and hubby felt that the price of the tickets were a little too steep.

Mom came with us together with her friend and Leia was very happy to see "Por Por".
We also got to take the nice pics of the Merlion and Esplanade.

11th Feb 2009

Our beloved Ginger turns 8 this year and Leia is old enough to sing a birthday song completely for Ginger. I should have recorded it down.

After Leia arrived on 29th June 2006, I sadly admit that I have not been able to spend time with Ginger like I used to. But she still remains very dear to me even though I "scold" her all the time.

I hope that Ginger will stay healthy and happy in many years to come.

"Happy Birthday our dear Ginger"!!

The Birthday Gal!!

Happy Anniversary

7 years ago, on this day, we vow to be there for each other, for better or for worse, in sickness or in good health.
And for the past 7 years, we had achieved that.

On this day I wanna say this vow again. That in the years to come, I will do my best to be there for you, learning to cherish you and loving you.

I will strive to be the loving wife, the good mother of your child, the listening friend who will always be there for you.

Happy 7th year Anniversary with many more years to come!!!

I LOVE YOU!!!

Faith, Hope and Love

Chinese New Year

This year's outfit :)

In life, many a times, humans are very overwhelmed with petty things.
Things which blind them to look at situations clearly.

I am one of them. Last Sunday, I learned an important message from Pastor.
He reminded us of how we always blamed our age when it comes to memory.
We always give people the excuse that it is our age that causes us to forget things.

Humans program our mind to only want to remember the bad things that happen and forget about the good ones. Taking it for granted.

He gave a piece of advice to the men in church that day. That if you do not want to end up having a divorce. From this day, remind yourselves of all the good that once happened between each other. The days when you were in love with this person. The days when you made the decision that this person was the one that you wanted to spend the rest of your life with. Learn to cherish the wonderful moments that you once had. Look at your partner once again in a different light.
Make an effort to remember all the times you were in loved with this person.

Men by nature, only want to remember about terrible times.
From that day, I want to make an effort in loving my husband again. Remind myself of all the good times we had. I also want to be grateful to GOD for all these. I want to remind myself that happiness was never self achieved but GOD given. I want to learn to humble myself that whatever happens, good or bad, I will not take it for granted.

This walk will never be easy but I know God will be there. He will pick me up if I make an effort to stretch out to him.
