Princess turns 6 mths today..

My little one turns six months today and I am amazed by how time flies by so fast.
Soon it will also be back to work for me and the thought of it just makes me SICK!!!!
I was just telling hubby last night that it will definitely be a nightmare for me, to go back to work. I just can't bear the thought of being away from my precious one for so long and so far away. Though it may seem ridiculous to many as my "long" means like 8-9 days away from Sin, for me, it feels like 8-9 donkey YEARSSSS.....
I hope the Lord gives me strengh!! As I am going to miss my girl so badly!!! Just thinking about it, makes me wanna cry :(

My little one just grows sweeter, smarter and naughtier everyday.
Why I say sweet, it's because she is always smiling when I call out to her. Smarter as she is learning real fast as about 95% of the time when I ask her an equation, she will give me a right answer. You will have to see this for yourself to believe this!! A 6 mths old solving an equation... haha..
Naughtier as she now expresses her wants and dun wants with screaming and crying!!!!!!!
I can already feel that she is a real "chilli padi"... hai...
Being with her everyday, just makes life more fulfilling and meaningful.
And it is only now, I realise the sacrifices, my mother would make for me and the love that my mom shower on me are simply priceless. Thank You Mom!

she can CRAWL!!

My little one has done it!!!
She is now able to crawl for the toys and things that catches her eye!!
Previously I had already caught her crawling a few steps forward and mostly backwards, but now she can confidently push herself quite a long distance.. I am really proud of her as she is only coming 6 mths tomorrow but yet she can crawl. Though not really perfect but I know that now she realise by pushing and kicking her legs forward, gets her the things she wants, in no time she will be all ove the house crawling the right way..

Princess's first Xmas

This is baby Leia's first Xmas and I thank God for taking away her cough and flu virus.

I think she din really know what was going on that day but still manage to enjoy herself with all the presents she receive.

Thank You Mom for "renting" her home to me for the party!!

Still sick :(

My poor little Princess still has not recovered from her flu and cough..
This has been a very tedious week for me as the little one has been throwing a lot of tantrums and sleeping in the night has been torturous for her because of her coughing.
She has also become very clingy and insecure for the past few nights, the moment her pacifier drops out from her mouth, she will scream her lungs out. I even had to carry her throughout the night till almost 4am in the morning before she finally goes into deep sleep.
And with me, down with flu too, just makes this week a horrible nightmare!!
Surfing the net and blogging comes to a standstill for the past week.
I pray hard to God that he will come save me and my girl soon as there is only so much I can take and seeing my girl so uncomfortable with all the phlegm in her throat and nose makes my heart ache.

I feel so GUILTY..

My little Princess is sick and it's all because of me as I was the one whom had passed the virus to her..
I am feeling so guilty and miserable. Looking at her feeling so terrible and uncomfortable with all the coughing and sneezing makes me feel even worse.
I pray to God to take all her virus away and be my healthy, happy baby soon..

wow.. seems like i haven been posting for quite some time already..
time just seems to fly by so fast these days..
Princess Leia has already started on her GD program and seems like it hasn't been going too well. Initially I thought it would be quite easy as it only requires her full attention for about 30seconds three times a day but it seems that this is quite a challenge.
As we not only require her full attention, we must also make sure that she is in a joyous mood and we also have to try to make this whole learning process a very happy one.
But it seems that she does not have too much interest in the flashing of cards and I really wonder where did I go wrong? Could it be that I am flashing too slowly? Or have I already bored her with the cards? THis would Mean TROUBLE!!
I will persevere and make this whole thing WORK!!

Yesterday Princess Leia went for her final 6 in 1 jab and her last dose of rotarix.
She is definitely a brave girl as she did not whine and thank goodness for not getting a fever after that.
She also turn 5 mths two days ago. Her weight is currently at 6.1kg.
Doc Ong told us she is of very good weight even though we felt she is pretty small as compared to many other 5 mths old..
She recently also has been developing a bad habit, scratching her ears.
Initially we thought that something had got into her ear or maybe she was into her teething process but Doc Ong told us this was just a bad habit that some babies have as they grow older.
She also has not been sleeping well for the past few nights, she is no longer the baby that could sleep on her own when bedtime comes!!! haiii... she is very dependent on her tutu these days..
I realise as time goes and the more things she is discovering about herself and the world, its getting harder to care for her. But being her mummy, no matter how hard things are and will be, I will shower her with my utmost love and care..
I finally discover the greatness motherly love..
