Hectic..hectic..hectic..

It has been a terribly hectic week for me!! Going back to work was just terrible for me.. Not just mentally but physically too.. Age has definitely caught up with me.. I no longer could stand the long hours of walking and standing as before.. Getting myself to sleep on foreign bed was also difficult for me even though I was "dog tired".. And to think I have not even started flying pacific!!! Really can't imagine how terrible that would be...

Blogging will soon be a luxury for me as off days in Sin now will be spent preciously with my darling Princess..

So much has happen in the past week..

Darling Princess finally has her first tooth!!! 19th April 2007..

Was really sad when I heard the news that day as I was not the first discoverer..But I soon learn that this was a fact that I had to accept, that as a working mother, there will be many of her first I am going to miss..

Princess has also learned to say "mama" in an almost perfect way!!! 27th April 2007..

The imperfection, looking at me in the eye and saying it!!! Hahaha..

Standing and walking 3 steps unassisted has been another achievement for the week..

All these in achievements in just about 10 days!!!!!!!UNBELIEVABLE...

My little one will also turn 10 months old tomorrow.. In just another 2 months, she will be 1..

I bought her a shopping cart from KL airport yesterday as her 10 mths old pressie.. Actually I had my eye on Little Tikes shopping cart but this one from Leapfrog is just so nice.. I also have not seen it selling in Singapore.. It actually comes with a scanner that teaches quantities, food groups, colours and numbers as it talks!!!!! A little pricey though but I am pretty sure the little one will like it.. I also bought her the Little Touch from Leapfrog for her last week..

Seems like I am a Leapfrog fan!!!

Back to reality..

Today is officially the first day of work.. Back to reality.. Learning to say goodbye will always and has never been an easy thing.. Though it sounds ridiculous to many but for me to say "bye bye" to my girl is really difficult.. I feel guilty leaving her at home to the care of my helper when this should be my job.. I will probably no longer witness her first steps, first word and many other firsts.. But in order to live more comfortably and bring the dough back, I must learn to let go..I tell myself that it will only take just another 1 year, then all will be better.. I believe many mummies out there experience the same feelings as me.. I pray that my girl will still recognise and want me each time I come back from my long flights..

Clapping..

Ever since the day we came back from Marcus and Celincia's birthday, my little Princess has been clapping her hands every now and then..
It all started when we sang the birthday song and I was putting her hands together while singing happily. She thoroughly enjoyed herself clapping her hands and from then onwards, whenever we sang or asked her to clap, she would do the action over and over again... Wat an achievement..

sucking on straw..

My Princess has picked up the skill of using the straw today!!! Was at Mom's place with the little one and while I was enjoying a packet of Vitasoy, as usual, the curious darling wanted to play with the straw..so as she was sucking on the straw, suddenly I realised that she had a strange look on her face.. She managed to suck up the soy milk!!! hahaha.. after that attempt she discovered the skill of drinking from the straw.. I am so proud of her achievement.. Seems like I will have to get her a new sippy cup..

Celincia's & Marcus's Birthday

08th April 2007 was the 1st birthday of Celincia and Marcus.. It seems like yesterday when I was preggie with my kakis and now the two little ones have turned one.. And very soon, my little one will also turn one in two months time!!!!
I am so excited will all the preparation for her big birthday bash...

Homemade Cupcakes

I made cupcakes today again!!! This is my second try and this time round.. with pretty icings.. oh my oh my!!! I am pretty proud of my work.. haha.. I have decided to make cupcakes for the Princess's coming birthday as I really wanted to be hands on for this party.. Actually I had already tried baking the cupcakes last sat but did not take any pics as I did not decorate it with icing cos I wanted to see if they tasted alright.. And they do taste GOOD!!! haha.. so I am more confident this time round and with my sis's help, "ta da" look at how cute my cupcakes turn out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think I shld change the colour of the icing.. They look boring as compared to the blue that I made... Hmm..

SEE!!!! Even the little one can't RESIST the CUTE cupcakes!!
