Zoo

Brought the little one to the zoo for the first time last friday.

Have been meaning to post earlier but came down with the nasty cough again and the cough mixture that the doc prescribed me seriously knocked me out every night!!

Well, tonight I decided to give the med a miss and do some serious postings :)

The first family pic that when we arrived at the zoo.. Princess just couldn't take her eyes off the birds!!

The Polar bears are going back to their real home.. So Sad..We hope that Leia gets to see the Polar Bears before they leave the zoo for the Antartics.Look at how small the liitle one is besides the Polar Bear.

I'm so confused

Today hubby asked me if I was willing to be a full time mother to our little one and consider not going back to work till she is about 3.

I am so confused right now as one part of me feels so happy but the other part of me feels so lost.
Happy cos my husband is very supportive of the idea that I should really spend quality time with our girl at least for the first 3 years of her life.
Lost cos it will mean that I will be out of job for 3 years and money will be tight and I will no longer spend like I used to and kind of scary to be out of touch with the society for some time. But mostly its the lost of my "kind of high" income that I am more worried about as our new house will be ready in about 2-3 years time.
So money will be real important but I also have to keep in mind that my time with my girl for her first 3 years will be so precious that no amount of money can be compared with.

I am sooooo confused!!!!!

As to why hubby would have the sudden decision was because something scary happened yesterday again!!

Tini(my maid that will be taking care of Leia when I go back to work), somehow caused Leia to drop backwards and lifted her two legs up into the air, which I DUNNO WHY, got her neck bended 45 degrees backwards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This whole incident which I "luckily" did not witness was seen by my hubby and mother in law.
Both of them HAD such a shock of their life.

The Princess cried so badly and loud that I ran out of the bathroom with just a towel wrapped around...

Can u imagine the shock and heartache that I felt?!
What is the right choice? :(

"GONG XI FA CAI"

What a tiring and hectic week!!

This is the Princess first Chinese New Year and 'boy' it definitely was tiring for not just hubby and me but also our little one!!

She must be so excited by all the visiting and outdoor trips that she lost sleep over all these activities.

"She actually has DARK EYE CIRCLES around her EYES!!!!!!"
I really must let her catch all her sleep starting from today!!

All her routine is all mixed up.. POOR baby..




CNY Day 1

We took a break on CNY Day 2 and went relatives visiting for hubby's side.
Did not take any pics tat day as all his relatives stayed within walking distances!!

Went to mom's hse on CNY Day 3.
Brought my in laws there too and both Fiona and Jesline came visiting too with their precious darlings of course!!

Valentine's Day officially ended about 30 mins ago.

Spend this day with 2 good friends and 2 other precious babies together with my daughter.
Had wanted to take a picture as this was both Leia's and Marcus's first Valentine's Day but such a simple chore proved to be such a difficult task as my girl was screaming her lungs out all the while she was awake.

And when she finally settled down, she had fallen asleep. So Sad, no pics to post!!!!

Being married for 5 years and now with a 7 mths old baby, both my hubby and I are no longer in the "honeymoon" period.
This is just another ordinary day to us.

I finally spring cleaned my wardrobe!!!

I have so many clothes that they toppled down every time I open the cabinet... :p
Not that I have too many clothes, its just that I have clothes for the four seasons which i need when I am overseas.
I also have clothes that I wore when I was preggie with Leia , I also have clothes for post pregnancy and now I have new clothes as I am not able to fit into my XS clothes liao!!!!!!!!!!

SO CAN U IMAGINE MY WARDROBE!!!!!!
TOTAL DISASTER!!

So today I finally am able to clear all the mess and pack clothes that I do not need and unable to wear..

I am so happy to get this done before Chinese New Year but wat a bad headache I got from all these packing!!

One of my worst fears happened!!

The little Princess fell from the bed today. I should not have left her to sleep on my bed.
I should not have relied on my maid to keep a lookout for her while I went to shower..

Sometimes I am just too trusting but I also have to take some responsibility for her fall. I should not have left her on my bed knowing that she is such a fast crawler liao.

Leia's 1st Automobile

Bought this Pooh push automobile few months back at the toys"r"us sale.
And that time, hubby was commenting that I am a bit crazy to get this for her at such a young age.
BUT Look at her NOW!!!
She can actually sit very steadily in it and I was able to even push her around the house.
Dun ever underestimate how fast a baby can grow in such a short time..
HAHA!!! "Deary, EAT YOUR WORDS!!"

StUPiD, UGly, iRRitatiNG OLD Woman!!!!

Bump into this STUPID, CRAZY old woman yesterday at chinatown!!!!
Did not want to lose my cool and quarrel with her initially but this old woman really too much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was queuing to buy "kueh kueh" home, then this old woman suddenly cut queue in front of me but thankfully the store owner knew that she cut queue and gave me the "kueh first. Then this old woman started screaming at the store owner and insisted that she came before me and scolded the store owner for giving me the "kueh" first just because I had paid him first!!!
I just kept quiet cos I knew I was not at fault and the store owner was on my side but in the end I let her have the "kueh" first thinking that I dun wanna waste my effort on arguing with a CRAZY woman!!!
Then when she got her food and was walking away, the uncle apologize to me. I told him it was ok and told him that she had cut queue and was asking about the pineapple tarts that he was selling and not ordering the "kueh" that she had so insisted about having it first.
And all of a sudden, this CRAZY woman shouted at me from behind, "I CANNOT ASK MEH!!!!"
That is when I really lose my cool liao!!!!!!!!

I SHOUTED even louder than her!!!!! "I NEVER SAY CANNOT LEI!!! WAT IS YR PROBLEM NOW??ALREADY LET U CUT MY QUEUE,KEEP QUIET AND U THINK U CAN BULLY ME AH!!!!!!!!!!"

WA PIANG!!!!!!!!!!
I am reALLY MAD this time...

So Drama!!! Ppl around me also agreed that this woman really "siao ding dong"!!!
Wa lao!! Damn spoil my mood!!

Was so happy initially cos had brought the little one to see the lights at chinatown then had to bump into this kind of crazy woman.

But luckily, the Princess's smile put out all the "fire" in me.
We continued the rest of the day happily.
