Your first molar!!

My Princess's first molar is finally out!!!
Hahahaha.. And mummy is the first discoverer......

YEA!!!!!!!!!!

So it seems that even though my helper may be the one taking care of her when I am not around, she is after all just a helper. For the days that I was not around, she did not even realise that the Princess was having her little molar growing out.

I found out this morning when I was cleaning her gums and tongue.

As always, my little one is pretty calm with this :)

Zoo AGAIN!!!

This is the first trip of the Year 2008 to the zoo and I can see how much the Princess has grown from this outing.
She enjoyed herself very much as she was able to recognise the animals that she has seen on her DVDs.
She even said "Otter", the moment she saw one!!!!!
I am amazed by what she can learn and has learned.
I am blessed.
Today she also had the company of her "yiyi", splashing waters with her at the children's playland.
Too bad for one thing though, the children's farm was closed for upgrading.
Only a slight area was opened and would the new area would only be ready in June 2008.

A rapper in the making..

Definitely her favourite toy for now ever since her "yi yi" taught her how to rap through the microphones that came with the drum set.

She says "yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo" the whole time she plays with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I finally went to see a dentist today and got a facial done!!!
But this short get away made me feel so guilty.........................................

Because my little Princess apparently was not too happy about it as she was crying her hearts out when she woke up from her nap only to find that mummy had left her home to get things done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My helper said she cried so badly, it looks as if she just had a terrible fall!!!
And that was not all, she just wouldn't go back to sleep and calling out for me every now and then.....

Haiz.. haiz.. haiz...
*guilty guilty guilty*

This incident is really making me think twice about going out alone.
I think I really should leave the house with her looking at me, instead of just disappearing after she takes her nap.

Anyway the trip to the dentist was really a nasty one!!

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, in my LIFE had I hated going to the dentist.

But today I REALLY HATED THE DENTIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not because of my ger but the STUPID, RUDE, OLD, BIRD BRAINED, F***ing, DENTIST itself!!!!!!!!!!!

The moment I stepped into the room, he asked me what was I there for today and I explained to him all the problems with my gum and asked if it was ok to have my wisdom tooth removed cos I always feel kinda "soury" when I took cold food.

He then replied me: "Do U floss everyday?"

I said: "I try to."

He then said: "Are U having a cold today?"

Feeling strange, I said: "No."

He said: " You sound like U have A BLOCKED NOSE!"

Suddenly, I felt really offended!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What the F????!!!!
What has that gotto do with all the problems that I told u?

Then after checking my teeth, he said I have quite a number of problems.
And feeling annoyed, I asked him: "What?"

He said: "You are much younger than me, but U have teeth that are 3 times older than mine!!"

This time, I was really getting MAD!!!!!!

He then proceed to ask me if I have had braces on before?

And I was thinking, "Hey, U are the f***ing dentist here, U mean U can't tell if I have had worn braces before????????!!!!!!"

WA LAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But I really cannot be bothered with answering him.

And can u imagine, before I left, he said: "YOU dun look too happy."

And I said: "YES, I AM NOT!!!"

What kind of dentist is that????!!!!!!!

This person really seriously made me consider going to the dentist again.....

Potty Training

I am at lost when it comes to potty training..

But the Princess never fails to amaze me. And she did it again yesterday.
Usually I would let her air her bottom in the evening before she changes into her PJs, for about half an hour after her evening shower.
When she was younger, she would feel uneasy without her diapers on and wet herself all over.
But it seems that now she is older, she is beginning to understand that she could hold her pee pee until she puts on her diapers.

So yesterday, I decided to try the potty on her..
Though she still did not pee in it after I took off her pants, SHE DID IT, when I told her to pee in the shower room.

I think I will have to come up with some ideas in teaching this little young lady how to sit and pee :)

Full month and Birthday

It was hubby's, brother's girl full month yesterday.

Jiawen, is Leia's first intimate cousin.

We also attended Isaac's 1 year old birthday too.

Too bad the Princess was sleeping most of the time, so I could not take much pictures..

What A Day today..

Today i attended the second class of the Princess's second term with the school.
She has a new teacher, I was told by my sister.
Because of work, I was unable to go with Leia for her first lesson, last Sat.
But I believe my little baby will understand that mummy will always try her best to attend all lessons with her..

Actually today I felt really happy because I could tell that my little Princess enjoys going to classes to learn new things and enjoy the company of her friends and teacher.
She is such a happy child. While there were 1 or 2 children fussing in the class, my little girl was smiley, enjoying the activities, and danced whenever a music or song was played.
And when we came home, she repeated the actions that were taught in class.
I am so proud of my little girl and I am so happy that I have raised such a wonderful and happy child.
I pray that everyday will always be so happy for my little girl.

But the second half of my day was terrible.
It has nothing to do with my Princess.

I discovered something that made me feel lost, disappointed, shock and even sick.
It made me think.. made me worry.. made me wanna cry..

I am at such a loss for words and I can't even describe the sadness in me..
I will pen off now..

" I love my YIYI and handphones"!!

I forgot to mention that handphones are one of the Princess's favourite item.

And she also loves her "yiyi" as much as me.

My darling, precious baby is sister is one of the biggest reason that make me definitely want to have a sibling for my Princess.
It is her that made me realise the importance of having a second child.
No amount of words can describe what a great sister she is to me and I hope that one day my girl can have this precious gift and feeling that I have.

My little pRincess finally finish her rounds of jab at 18months.

Dr Ong commented that Leia is still a little on the small side as she weighs only 9.9kg at 18mths. Her height is currently at 78cm which also seems that she is "not very tall".

But I have learned that as long my little one is growing healthily and happily, that is all that matters to me. Size, weight, height are just figures and standards that human have set.


I am currently in San Francisco as I update. This is a place that hubby loves.
A city that I pretty love too.
But the weather here today and the next 2 days is horrible.
We are having a storm here and when we arrived here yesterday, we actually waited for close to 2 hours to claim our luggages.

The wind was so strong that it made it impossible for the ground staffs to open the cargo compartment!!!!
And while we were in the aircraft, it felt like we were on a ship that was sailing on rough sea, swaying to and fro...

And I am stuck here in the hotel room...
Gosh!!!! I really want to get out and do some picture taking..

Sorry Princess.. Mummy lost so many of your pictures.. I am such a nerd when it comes to the computer... Maybe you can teach me more when you grow older, okay?

In the meantime, I learn that I will not delete my pictures in my camera until I am sure that I have saved them correctly.

HAPPY NEW YEAR..

It feels like it was only yesterday when hubby and I brought Leia to see her first fireworks display..

Once again, this year, we were invited to watch the beautiful fireworks with compliments from Uncle Thomas and "YiYi" Gillian at Marina Mandarin.

But we are missing hubby as he was not able to come home for the New Year because of his recent posting to Shanghai but I decided to still bring the little Princess to see the fireworks.

Actually, I really feel sad that hubby is not around with us this year and I really felt kind of lonely without him around me and sometimes I wish that he did not have to go China.
But that would be such a selfish act.
It would not be right for our future plans and I have to constantly remind myself that this is only a temporary separation.

And one of my wish for the New Year is that both Leia and I would always get to celebrate New Years with hubby as the years come by...
