Dora Movie
The Princess's first experience to the movies. Brought her to see "Dora Saves the Snow Princess" that was showing at Orchard Cineleisure. The whole movie lasted for 45mins and cost us $6 each. As this was her first to the movies, she kept asking me where is Dora as she had the idea that it would be more like a show. And thankfully, Dora really appeared after the show!!! So she was really excited and happy to see Dora as you can see in the above picture!!

Mummy has really been slacking in updating the blog recently.
The biggest reason is probably that Mummy has been in town too long.....
I have been enjoying cooking and baking at home and I found a really good recipe book and spending quite a bit on cookbooks.
I realise that not all cookbooks are great as some may sound simple to work at, they do not taste as great as it looks on the picture.
Little Princess has been loving my company but its not doing her too good as she is toooooo attached to me right now.
I can't even go for facials or marketing on my own. She wants to follow wherever I am going. But the Princess is really sensible. She allows me to go to work though!
I really love her so much.
I am also counting down to my little girl's 3rd birthday. This year we decided on Toa Payoh Safra over Jurong Safra even though we liked the later better. Reason being, it was too expensive and only allowed us to use 2 hrs for the party room.
As for Toa Payoh, the place was more suitable for younger kids and we could use the party room for 4 hrs which I felt it was so much better. The only down point was that no adults will be allowed in the play area therefore the kids have gotta be on their own with Safra's 2 staffs.
Both the Princess and me are very excited and she has been asking me almost everyday if its June 29th already!!
Her birthday theme this year is Dora.
I will be back with loads and loads of pictures I hope!!!

Happy Birthday Sweets!!
This post is dedicated to my beloved sister, Gillian Tong!!!
I wanna tell you how dear and precious you are to me.
I thank Lord for the wonderful gift that he made us sisters.
I was reading a blog the other day and this blogger was so darn angry and pissed with her younger sister that she dedicated a frustrated post, hurling at her and saying how much she hated being sisters with her.
This reminded me of old times when we were young, when we used to "hate" each other. For wearing each other's clothes, shoes and etc. Then there were times where we used angry and hurtful words to make the other party sad.
I also remember making you my maid whereas I was the Princess.
I am giggling away as I write this. I know you must be really angry then for I am always telling you it will be your turn next and then to tell you that we have to end the game.
Those were the fun times and now that We are older, I learn to appreciate all that you have done to love me, respect me, comforting me and supporting me.
You are the best thing that Lord has given me and I want you to know that I LOVE YOU.
And I also want to tell you that I will be your maid now instead and You will always be my Princess!!

What A SUPER DUPER BUSY MONTH!!!
This has been a super duper busy month for me..
Many plans have come up and I have been cracking my brains real hard.
I dun remember the last time I lost so much brain cells!!!!
Good???!!
Maybe... But I also realise age really has caught up with me.
I am super exhausted and I really need a break.
But the break has to wait till things are more settled.
Well, Hubby and I still manage to squeeze time for our Princess.
We also took her to Taiwan for a good 9 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CRAZY, right!!!!!!
Last minute decision!!!
The initial plan was only for 5 days and we ended up extending 4 more days because "WE PAID $2000" just for the stupid air tickets!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was really a lesson learned. NEVER TRY TO ACT SMART!!
As a crew, my heart really ache... paying that kind of money for budget airline but hubby was really frustrated at that moment because we had been on standby at the airport for close to 7 hours with the Princess.
He said We are never travelling on company benefits again until I am sure that WE could get on board confirmed.
He rather we pay as full fare passenger.
We were bounced off for 4 departure flights from CX and he could not take it anymore.
Thankfully, the Princess has been a very good girl.
She was happily waiting to get on the aeroplane and Daddy did not want to disappoint her by going home so have to "burn a hole in the pocket" lor...
And since we were paying so much for the tickets, we decided to stay longer in Taiwan.
But this is the last time, I am trying my luck on other airlines with the Princess.

Duck Tour
Brought the Princess on duck tour and she was really excited about it after I described to her that we were going to take a boat that has wheels which could also travel on land. And she kept repeating "duck tour, duck tour...."
Its pretty interesting and the weather was great that day because it had rained before we took the ride,so it was cooling.
But the time that we took was not that good cos the Princess fell asleep halfway through the journey.
Also both me and hubby felt that the price of the tickets were a little too steep.
Mom came with us together with her friend and Leia was very happy to see "Por Por".
We also got to take the nice pics of the Merlion and Esplanade.

Our beloved Ginger turns 8 this year and Leia is old enough to sing a birthday song completely for Ginger. I should have recorded it down.
After Leia arrived on 29th June 2006, I sadly admit that I have not been able to spend time with Ginger like I used to. But she still remains very dear to me even though I "scold" her all the time.
I hope that Ginger will stay healthy and happy in many years to come.
