As i was taking pictures of Pier 39 just now, I realised these pictures in my memory card were still not being uploaded in my laptop.

This was taken on the day before, we were going to hand over to the buyer who had bought our car.

I still love this car though it was not our first car but it was the Princess's first.
I drove this car when I was pregnant and till Leia was just slightly over 1.

We had to sell it because hubby was moving over to Shanghai and I am also constantly not in town so there was no need for a car.

This car also brings back fond memories and until now when Princess sees the same kind of car on the road, she will say "PaPa ... car"

Counting from 1 - 10

She loves to count from 1 -10 and she is now learning to count till 20. Therefore this video is a little outdated.

Threading

Bought this threading toy cos it looks cute and though not that "fun", it seems to me that the little one is picking up a skill from it. She looks really serious and focussed. I think she finds it interesting too.

At Work

Just touched down from Narita to New York. I thought that would be my second last flight!! Heehee..

San Francisco

I am once again back to this lovely city which brings me back fond memories.

Its really hot and warm here this summer. I guess its the effects of global warming. I have never experienced such heat in San Francisco.

Yesterday I had the urge to visit Napa Valley and "chio" my girls but 2 were going for the city tour and 1 "you xin wu li".
Hahaha.. Anyway I gave up the idea and felt that I will go next month instead cos my team girls are flying with me so they would probably be interested in joining me.
And I will definitely be more prepared so I can bring my camera to fire up with pictures!!

I am feeling better these 2 days. I am still weak but my mood has lighten up a little.
I really hope I get out of this shit soon.

Back to feeling the heat here. I decided that I am going to be more of a "recycling" person. It may sound crappy to some people but I think humans really ought to learn and be taught how to love the world.

There have been so much talk and emphasis on global warming but humans just don't get it.

This generation are just starting to feel it and being educated, shouldn't we humans do something about it and stop feigning ignorance.

My Princess is the generation that will suffer. Your children and their children will suffer!!!!

I will learn to recycle and reuse.

This will be one of my goal for now.

Its decided...

"Globetrotters" will be the venue for the Princess 2 year old party this year.

Wanted to hold a small celebration this year because her one year old party was too overwhelming and it really tired us out.

So this year will just be a cosy one with close friends.

Looking forward to it :)

Pics at the museum

Princess's first concert!

Barney was finally here and Princess enjoyed the show very much.

I was glad that we bought her the front seats. She was dancing and enjoying herself while Barney came alive!!

Whats happening?

Have u ever felt that life is such a joke?

Actually I dun even know why I am typing this to start a post.

I just feel very unhappy nowadays. Nothing seems to make me laugh.

I smile for my pretty Princess everyday but there is no joy and happiness in me.

But I am grateful to God that he watches over my girl everyday.

I really dun know what is exactly happening to me. I flare up easily and I dun wish to talk much about things because when I do, I always end up feeling more terrible and pissed each time.

I feel that talk is cheap. I really wanna get out of this CRAP!!!!!!!

What the hell is happening to me????????????

Am I turning into some kind of sadist??!!

I think I am falling into....

Depression....

Museum again

Brought the little one to the museum today again but today we were only there for a short while cos we had arrive there pretty late.

Marcus, my godson, together with his daddy and mummy joined us today.

But Marcus was sleeping when he reached there, so he din really get to walk around the museum too much.

As before, Princess enjoyed herself very much.

And soon, we headed down to Plaza Singapura for dinner.

We also paid Tricia a visit at KK today, right after dinner.
Poor Tricia had to be admitted into the hospital as she caught fits in the afternoon.

This experience triggered many thoughts for me. I wonder what will happen if Princess was the one who caught fits and if this were to happen when I was not around.

Like any normal day, Princess is now left alone under the care of my 2 Indonesian helpers when both me and my mother-in-law is working.
Would the 2 helpers know what to do?
What would happen to my Princess?

Yesterday I so happen to reprimand 1 of my helper because she had given Ginger wrong dosages of medication. And I had specifically paid special attention by writing down the dates of the days when Ginger needs to be fed. Still she made a mistake, feeding her everyday instead of every other day.

I am highly suspicious that we have a communication problem.

I am slowly losing trust in them.

They are also part of the reasons for my unhappiness in the past few months.
They fed Princess with expired medication when I was not around. This triggered me to be more detailed in my explanation to them with medication.

But it seems that, still it does not work.

Therefore my last resort, is praying.

I pray to GOD that he look afters my child's well being.
And that if something must happen, please at the very least, happen only when I am around.

In the meantime, I will do my utmost in enhancing my communication with my helpers too.

Have you ever felt that out of the 365 days in a year, almost 300 days are dreadful days which you wish you never wanna wake up to.

I think for the past 6 months has been the worst days of my life..

I am not joking.. I have hit rock bottom..

I need GOD very very badly.

My Princess is the only reason I am living for right now.

I admit that I did think of letting my journey come to a complete stop..

Loved ones that are reading my blog now must be worried and terrified. But fear not, cos I am still well and alive because I believe there will be miracles and that GOD is with me.

A friend reminded me that our child is solely ours and nobody else in this world, sad to say, can replace a mother's undying love for her children.

It is very contradicting to me after what I have been through for the past few months.
I DO NOT AGREE TOTALLY..

But there is one thing for sure is that my love for my Princess is undying.

Therefore I will continue to battle the hardships and pain in life.
And fend for my child till the day she is independent, till the day when I know she has learnt to walk the journey of love.

Cat Painting

My Princess did another paint job today and it turned out real pretty..

She is such a big lover of animals and even though I am pretty afraid of cats, I do not implant my fear to her.
And it seems she really likes cats alot cos when I asked her what alphabet does cat starts with,
she said : C!!!!!

I was really surprised!

Because this is the first time I ask her about alphabets and she got it right.

Gosh!

In love with sliding!!

Princess's first trip to the museum

I don't even remember when was the last time, I went to the museum.
And this outing was definitely an eye opener not only for Leia but also for me too.
The little one enjoyed herself so much, that she cried when I told her we had to head home!!
But I promised her that we will be back soon :)

Visit to Jingu.. Nagoya..

This is my first trip to Nagoya.
JAL used to fly the sin crews on this flight 10 years ago whereby they used to stay here for 3 nights.

And after 10 years, they return this flight to us.

Yesterday I asked a Japanese colleague about what we could do here and what was Nagoya famous for as I am totally foreign to this part of Japan.

She told me that every year, the royal family would make a trip here to visit the very famous shrine in Jingu.
She asked me if I would like to join her as she would be visiting the place and it would also be a first for her.

I am so lucky, for this trip to the shrine would be impossible without a Japanese.

She told me that in the ancient times, every Japanese would try to go to Jingu once in their lifetime.
And with no means of transportation, they would take 2-3 months of journey before they finally reach Jingu.

But that's not all to my luck, as I also found out that she was a believer of the Japanese Gods.
She was also kind enough to let us experience the process of a Japanese ritual in the shrine, with a reasonable amount of contribution to the shrine.

The air in the shrine was simply wonderful.

The trees were the most beautiful ones I have seen and it made me wonder how old they were.

We visited both Naiku and Geku.

These 2 shrines go way back to almost 2000 years ago.

NAIKU: Amaterasu Omikami who is the ancestral kami of the Imperial Family and the tutelary diety of the Japanese people is enshrined here at Naiku. She left the Imperial Palace about 2000 years ago in the era of Emperor Sujin, and was enshrined here at the Isuzu River after she visited many places in Japan.

GEKU: Toyouke Omikami is enshrined here at Geku. She was called from the Tanba region to this Yamadahara region of Watarai by the order of Amaterasu Omikami about 1500 years ago. She is the kami to offer the sacred food to Amaterasu Omikami and also is the kami who protects all industries that support our life.

An eye opener trip :)
